Sour Belts) and its subsidiaries and entities in which it has an interest (“Marketing Sitewide Inc”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your information. This privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect, use and disclose your personal information and how this personal information can be consulted and corrected when necessary. This Policy also explains how cookies are used on our Website.
By visiting https://www.sourbelts.ca or by registering for an online account (collectively the “Website”), purchasing products via the Website, contacting us or agreeing to receive emails from Sour Belts, you accept the terms and conditions of this Policy.
This Policy does not extend to websites operated by third parties. Sour Belts is therefore not liable for their privacy policies, procedures and practices.
1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
We collect your personal information in several ways, including when you enter information on our Website, register for an account, book an appointment, contact us by telephone or by email, post on our social media accounts, etc. Depending on the circumstances, personal information may include your first name, last name, email address(es), postal address(es), mobile number, preferred language, date of birth, your wish list, store credits and, with your prior consent, in case of purchase of prescription glasses through the Website the health data contained in the prescription to be provided prior to the purchase (“Prescription Information”). If you choose to withhold any personal information requested by us, it may not be possible for you to gain access to certain parts of the Website.
You may be given the option to access or register for an account through the use of your user name and passwords for certain services provided by third parties (“Integrated Service”), such as through the use of your Facebook account, or otherwise have the option to authorize an Integrated Service to provide personal information or other information to us. By authorizing us to connect with an Integrated Service, you authorize us to access and store your name, email address(es), and other information that the Integrated Service makes available to us, and to use and disclose it in accordance with this Policy. You may need to provide credit card information to complete a purchase through the Website. It is our policy to redirect you to a payment processing portal hosted by a third party payment processor. For your protection, we do not maintain credit card information subsequent to transaction processing. This means that for future transactions, you will have to re-enter your credit card information.
